Refunds, cancellations & rescheduling

This policy applies to paid desk-review engagements for financial audit of applications. It does not cover products or delivery models we do not offer.

Eligibility

Refund requests are considered for fees paid directly to Structured App Audit Office under a written estimate or engagement letter. Informational website browsing does not create a refundable purchase.

Timeframe

Submit refund or cancellation requests in writing to hello@smartdevopstools.digital within fourteen days of payment for work not yet started, or as soon as practicable if a filing window changes.

Full refund

A full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel the engagement for reasons within our control, or if you cancel in writing before we have opened your document set and begun desk review.

Partial refund

If review has begun, we may refund the unused portion after deducting time already spent at the rates implied by the estimate, including intake and preliminary reading. Deposits may be partly retained to cover reserved calendar time when cancellation occurs inside five business days of the agreed start.

Non-refundable items

Completed findings memos, delivered worksheets, and clarification calls already held are non-refundable. Rush premiums for windows already reserved are non-refundable once the rush period has started.

Work already started

“Started” means we have accessed your package or source extracts for substantive review, not merely acknowledged receipt. Administrative filing of your inquiry alone does not count as started work.

Purchased materials

We do not sell physical kits or inventory. Any third-party filing fees you pay to banks or agencies are outside this policy.

Process & timing

Email the engagement reference, payment date, and reason. Approved refunds are processed within fourteen business days to the original payment method where possible.

Cancellation & rescheduling

You may reschedule a reserved review window once without fee if you give at least five business days’ notice and a new window is available within thirty days. Later changes may incur a rescheduling charge stated in the engagement letter.

Deposits & no-shows

Deposits secure reviewer time. Failure to supply the agreed intake package by the start date without notice may be treated as a no-show; the deposit may be retained, and remaining fees re-quoted for a new window.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer protections under Taiwan law prevail where they grant broader rights than this policy.
