How an engagement moves from inquiry to readiness note

This guide mirrors how we deliver financial audit of applications work: intake, desk review, findings, and optional revision check.

Colleagues reviewing a shared document binder
  1. Inquiry & scoping

You describe the application type, recipient, filing date, and approximate page count. We reply with a recommended engagement and a fee range. No work starts until you accept the estimate in writing.

  2. Intake package

You send the draft application, recipient checklist, management accounts, and source extracts. We confirm the review window and name a lead reviewer.

  3. Desk review

Figures, schedules, and annexes are examined for consistency and completeness. Questions go to your nominated contact rather than scattered threads.

  4. Findings memo

You receive severity-tagged findings, a correction list, and a readiness statement. A clarification call helps assign owners inside your team.

  5. Optional revision check

After corrections, a second pass confirms closed items before resubmission. Available within three months of the original engagement.

What you prepare

  • Current form set or bank checklist
  • Draft narrative and financial exhibits
  • Source extracts matching schedule periods
  • Known reconciling items already documented

What we do not do

  • File the application with the bank or agency
  • Replace your statutory auditor’s opinion
  • Negotiate terms or award decisions
  • Provide software access or product licenses
